Cause: Automobile Crash
Patrolman Graham was killed when his patrol car was struck by a drunk driver while responding to a call for help from an officer of a neighboring jurisdiction.
Patrolman Graham is the lone Sumpter Township Police Officer to be killed in the line of duty.
Officer Graham's name is engraved on the wall of the National Law Enforcement Officer Memorial in Washington, D.C. It can be found on panel 30e, line 11.
